Map & Registration

On arrival, follow our greeters’ directions to park and then follow the signs to the Welcome Lounge. Leave your luggage in your car for the time-being.

Registration opens at 3:30PM Please aim to arrive between 3:30PM and 5PM. If you expect to be arriving later in the evening (after 7PM) please text Scott on 0498 835 268 (Telstra network only).

Dinner is from 6-7PM with Welcome and Orientation at 7:30PM

Name Tags

At registration you will receive a name tag – please wear it during Menergy :-)

What to Pack

We recommend:

• pillow;
• sheets and warm blankets OR a sleeping bag;
• towel and toiletries;
• pen and paper for journaling;
• head-lamp or torch for getting around at night without waking others;
• water bottle;
• sun hat; beanie;
• sunscreen;
• insect repellent;
• a variety of clothing: Licola is on the edge of the Alpine National Park and the change between daytime and night-time temperatures is remarkable! During the day shorts and t-shirts might suffice. For nights, pack warm layers and maybe even thermals;
• bathers if you want for swimming in the creek;
• your medications;
• shoes/thongs;
• your musical instruments if you play;
• an open heart and mind!

Menergy is alcohol and drug free. Please leave these at home. Do not bring pets. We encourage you to leave your mobile phone at home (or in your car).

Driving

Menergy 2025 is held at the beautiful Licola Wilderness Village. It is a 3-4 hour drive from Melbourne. Important: Do not use GPS to get directly to Licola as it is inaccurate and will take you along nearby backroads.

To get to Licola:

• from Melbourne to Traralgon on the Princes Hwy – 1.5 hrs;
• turn LEFT just after Traralgon before Dahlsens toward Heyfield (signposted) – 50 mins;
• turn LEFT in Heyfield towards Licola (signposted) – 40 mins.

Or just route via Traralgon, then Heyfield, then Licola.

If you’re arriving late, there will be check-in instructions at the Registration Desk. If it’s after hours and everyone is asleep, there will be instructions on where you can sleep. You can also text Scott on the Leadership committee on 0498 835 268 to let the committee know in advance of your planned arrival time.

EV Charging

Licola Wilderness Village relies on solar power and does not allow electic car charging. Trying to charge an EV will trip circuit breakers and get us in trouble with the venue. There is a Chargefox Charging Station in Heyfield, 53km from Licola.
